It is charged in steps: 1.7% from 226,100 to 318,300, 4.0% from 318,300 to 725,050, 13.7% from 725,050 to 980,100, 16.8% from 980,100 to 1,467,200, and 17.8% above that. Importantly, trinnskatt is calculated on gross income, before the minstefradrag and personfradrag deductions that only reduce the 22% income tax.
